Songwriter, writer and producer Chris Read has worked on stage and screen for over 15 years, writing songs and stories for Netflix's 'Ladybug and Cat Noir: The Film', the CW's 'Legacies' and co-creating Audible's 'Crush Hour', starring Ellie Goulding and Douglas Booth. He arranged and produced songs for Paramount's 'Better Man' and Marvel's 'Venom 3', and contributed lyrics to the 'Whiplash' soundtrack (deluxe edition).
 
As half of musical-comedy duo 'Harry and Chris', he wrote and performed multiple songs for Sky's The Russell Howard Hour', and NBC's 'Bring The Funny'. The duo also wrote and performed multiple times for BBC Radio 2, 3 and 4, and wrote and toured four full-length musical comedy shows, selling out runs at the Edinburgh Fringe and garnering 5-star reviews.

He is currently based in his hometown London, working on a slate of original musicals in development with various production companies, as well as occasional commercial music.
 
He is not sure about self-promotion and is getting better at writing bios in third person.
